Your Regular House Cleaner on the Gold Coast
Eco-friendly domestic cleaning using plant-based products, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. Safe for children, pets, and the environment, with consistent teams you can rely on.
The case for a regular cleaner
Most people come to us after trying to keep on top of it themselves. It works for a while, then it does not. The house starts falling behind and suddenly a routine clean is not enough. It needs a proper reset.
A consistent fortnightly clean avoids that cycle. It costs less over twelve months than two emergency deep cleans, and the home never gets to that point. That is not a sales pitch. It is what we see happen with clients who dip in and out.
For families with young children, a regular schedule matters for a different reason. Cleaners come through your home every two weeks. What goes onto your surfaces, benches, and floors matters. Plant-based products are not just a preference. They are worth thinking about seriously when someone is in your home that regularly.
If your home has not been professionally cleaned in a while, a deep clean first makes sense. From there, a regular schedule keeps things in good shape without starting over each time.

Green cleaning in your home
We use eco-friendly, plant-based products on every job. Not as an option. As our standard. We do not carry conventional chemicals. Eco products are what we use and what we are good at.
A regular client once told us her toddler had been getting skin reactions after their previous cleaning company visited. After switching to us and our eco product range, the reactions stopped. She has been a client since and has referred three neighbours.
People with allergies, pets, and babies tell us something similar often. Conventional cleaning chemicals are a genuine issue in homes where someone is sensitive. Eco products are not less effective. They just do not trade cleanliness for a chemical headache.
This matters more for ongoing clients than one-off customers. When someone comes to your home every fortnight, you should know exactly what is going onto your surfaces and floors.
What's Not Included
The following are not part of standard domestic cleaning but can be added as extras
- Inside appliances (fridge, oven, dishwasher)
- Interior cupboards/pantry
- Skirting boards
- Wall washing
- Tracks, blinds, fly screens
- Detailed ceiling fans
- Heavy build-up/restoration work
Most clients are surprised how much the standard clean covers. These extras are for the jobs that genuinely need more attention.
View All ExtrasWhen we're not the right fit
We are a professional eco-friendly cleaning service, not the cheapest option on the Gold Coast. If that is what you are looking for, we are probably not a match.
If your property has not been cleaned in over a year and you want a standard clean price, we need to talk first. Heavy build-up takes more time and different products. A routine quote will not cover it. A deep clean first is the right call.
If you need someone there in the next two hours, we are probably not your best option. Bookings are scheduled in advance so every client gets a reliable, consistent service.
How Our Pricing Works
Pricing is based on your home's size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and how often you book, not hours on a clock. The more frequently you book, the lower your per-clean rate. Regular cleaning gets cheaper the more consistently you book.
"Green Wave has been cleaning our home for over two years. Their attention to detail is incredible, and I love knowing the products are safe for my kids and pets."

Common questions about domestic cleaning
How often should I get my house professionally cleaned on the Gold Coast?
Most households find fortnightly works best. It keeps the home in good shape without the cost of weekly visits. Busy families with young children or pets often move to weekly. Monthly works for smaller households or those who do light maintenance between visits. The right frequency depends on your home size, lifestyle, and how quickly things build up.
What is included in a regular domestic clean?
A standard domestic clean covers living areas, bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms. This includes dusting surfaces, wiping appliances and handles, cleaning sinks, scrubbing toilets and shower glass, vacuuming, and mopping. It does not include inside appliances, interior cupboards, skirting boards, or tracks, those can be added as extras.
Is a fortnightly cleaning service worth it?
For most households, yes. A consistent fortnightly clean keeps grime from building up, which means each visit takes less time and costs less than an occasional deep clean. People who skip regular cleaning and book once in a while often end up needing a deep clean at significantly higher cost. Fortnightly is the most common schedule for our regular clients.
Are your cleaning products eco-friendly and safe for children and pets?
Yes. We use plant-based, non-toxic products on every job, not as an upgrade, but as our standard. The products are safe for children, babies, and pets when used as directed. If you or someone in your household has allergies or chemical sensitivities, mention it when you book so we can confirm the best product options for your home.
Which Gold Coast suburbs do you service for domestic cleaning?
We service all major Gold Coast suburbs including Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Southport, Labrador, Robina, Varsity Lakes, Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach, Currumbin, Mudgeeraba, Tweed Heads, Coomera, Hope Island, Helensvale, Mermaid Beach, Nobby Beach, Miami, Tugun, Nerang, and Coolangatta. If your suburb is not listed, contact us and we will confirm coverage.
What is the difference between a regular clean and a deep clean?
A regular clean maintains your home week to week or fortnight to fortnight, covering surfaces, floors, bathrooms, and kitchen. A deep clean goes further: skirting boards, ceiling fans, inside ovens, detailed tracks, and areas that do not get attention in a routine visit. Most new clients start with a deep clean and move to regular visits from there.
Do I need to be home when the cleaner visits?
No. Many clients give us a key or provide an access code and are not home during the clean. As long as we have clear access instructions, your team can complete the job and lock up. If you prefer to be home the first time, that is fine too.
How does scope-based pricing work for regular cleaning?
Your quote is based on your home's size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and how often you book. You pay a fixed price for a defined scope of work, not an hourly rate. The more frequently you book, the lower your per-clean price. Get your personalised quote at greenwavecleaning.com.au/get-a-quote.
