Pricing

    How Our Pricing Works

Transparent, fair, and based on your home's actual cleaning requirements, not time on a clock.

    Our Approach

    Scope-Based Pricing

Your quote is based on your home's size, layout, and requirements. You pay a fixed price for a defined scope of work, no matter how long it takes.

    • Know exactly what you'll pay upfront
    • Pay for results, not time
    • No incentive for cleaners to rush or drag out
    • Fair pricing based on actual work required
    Traditional

    Hourly Pricing

You pay by the hour, which means you never know exactly what the final bill will be until the work is done.

    • Unpredictable final cost
    • Incentive to work slowly
    • Or rush through to finish "on time"
    • Difficult to compare quotes

    What Affects Your Quote

Your personalised quote is calculated based on these factors

    Number of bedrooms
    Number of bathrooms
    Total floor area
    Property layout and access
    Specific requirements or extras
    Current condition of the property

    Book More, Save More

The more frequently you book, the better your per-clean rate. Weekly cleans get the best rates, followed by fortnightly, then monthly. One-off cleans are available at standard rates.

This is one reason regular cleaning makes financial sense over time. Clients who book fortnightly across twelve months pay less overall than those who book occasional deep cleans when things build up. See domestic cleaning for more on how a regular schedule works.

    Common questions about pricing

    What does scope-based pricing mean?

Scope-based pricing means your quote is calculated based on what your home needs, not how long it takes. We look at your property size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, layout, and any specific requirements. You receive a fixed price for a defined scope of work before we start. No hourly ticking, no end-of-job surprises.

Is scope-based pricing better than hourly?

For most clients, yes. Hourly pricing means you never know the final cost until the job is done. With scope-based pricing, you know exactly what you are paying upfront. It also removes the incentive for a cleaner to work slowly or rush through to hit a time target. You are paying for a clean result, not clock-watching.

How does cleaning frequency affect my price?

The more frequently you book, the lower your per-clean rate. Weekly cleans get the best rate, followed by fortnightly, then monthly. One-off and occasional cleans are available at standard rates. Regular clients also benefit from a consistent team who know the property, which means each visit runs efficiently.

Do you charge more for a first clean or deep clean?

If your home needs a deep clean to get to a good baseline, particularly if it has not been professionally cleaned recently. That will be quoted separately. A deep clean covers more ground and takes longer than a routine visit, so it is priced differently. Once the home is at a clean standard, regular visits maintain it at a lower per-visit cost.

What information do I need to get a quote?

To get an accurate quote, you will need to provide your property type (house, apartment, or townhouse), number of bedrooms and bathrooms, preferred cleaning frequency, and any specific add-ons you want included. You can get your personalised quote at greenwavecleaning.com.au/get-a-quote.

Are there hidden fees I should know about?

No. Your quote includes the agreed scope of work. If you add extras, like oven cleaning, window tracks, or fridge cleaning. Those are added to your quote before the job starts, not charged on the day. The price you see is the price you pay.
